We see Findley, dramatically posed. Lucas is being an artist and calmly doodling Findley’s portrait with a pencil nub on a scrap piece of note paper. ARO! Startled, Findley breaks his pose. Lucas jerks the nub across the paper, giving the drawing of Findley a big mustache.

ON AVOCADO. She’s laying in her dog bed, upset and howling. ARO! Lucas and Findley RUSH IN, straight to Avocado’s side. --- PAGE BREAK --- Lucas the Spider -- Spikey 2 2. AVOCADO (CONT'D) Spikey’s got a low belly and little legs. And snappy teeth! RAWR! Avocado bites the air. Nervous, Findley hides behind Lucas. AVOCADO (CONT'D) And Spikey makes a squeaky sound. Lucas and Findley (now dressed as the Climby Crew for the montage) are side by side, watching the tumble dryer going round and round, their eyes are following the action. --- PAGE BREAK --- Lucas the Spider -- Spikey 2 4.

Lucas is waiting on the coffee table. He watches CRUMBY ENTER FRAME and slowly roll past, below him. Findley calls out from somewhere inside Crumby:

Lucas hops across the lid of the BBQ, hot from the sunshine. WAUGH! BIRD!

ON the toilet seat. Lucas peers over the edge of the bowl. We hear Findley somewhere down below: HARD CUT TO:

Avocado is waiting eagerly as Lucas and Findley RETURN. --- PAGE BREAK --- Lucas the Spider -- Spikey 2 5. LUCAS (O.S.) (CONT'D) Avocadooo! We found a new toy for yooou. CUT TO Lucas and Findley, waving enticingly at a nearby dog bone on the floor, like Vanna White. LUCAS (CONT'D) It’s a chewy thing! Mmm-nom-nom! Lucas nibbles the bone a bit to encourage Avocado. ANGLE ON the dark attic window. WE hear a low <THUNDER> roll. ANGLE ON Findley and Lucas on the floor. Findley shifts around nervously. LUCAS (CONT'D) Let’s see... Avocado said Spikey had legs and a tail... ANGLE ON Findley. He dives into the treasure chest pile and pulls items out, considering a crayon, a toy tennis racquet, a cocktail toothpick, etc. CUT TO: --- PAGE BREAK --- Lucas the Spider -- Spikey 2 7. Lucas paces around the beginnings of Spikey 2. A pickle with many random objects stuck into it for legs and a tail. CUT TO: Lucas and Findley have just finished sticking cereal pieces to the body of Spikey 2, now with a pompom head. (It’s sort of like a crocodile, but in a really off putting way). Lucas and Findley are next to Spikey 2. It’s sitting in the recycling box that looks very, very gross. --- PAGE BREAK --- Lucas the Spider -- Spikey 2 8.

ANGLE ON the window. It’s now a bright, sunny morning. ANGLE ON Findley and Lucas. They look exhausted as they roll Spikey 2 to Avocado’s bed on Lucas’ buggy, for the big reveal. ON a LOW ANGLE of Bird sitting in her nest – TRUCK IN until Bird flies away… As she takes off we her a <SQUEAK> of air intake through a squeaker. CUT TO inside the nest. We see Spikey (a toy crocodile) inflating after Bird’s weight has been lifted. FADE TO CREDITS
